The small loot bag is used in safecracking. It is obtained from the safe-cracking trainer in the Thieves' Guild. When cracking safes across Gielinor, loot will be added to the bag. Players cannot withdraw loot from the bag; instead, it must be fenced with Robin at the Thieves' Guild.
Each safe fills either 6, 8, or 10% of the small loot bag. It usually takes around 11–16 safes to fill a small loot bag. This equates to approximately 1,000–2,659 Thieving experience, 1,547–5,000 coins, and 3.8–8.4 pilfer points per safe.
A small loot bag can be upgraded into a medium loot bag at Dodgy Derek's Dirty Deals for 500 pilfer points. If this item is not kept on death, the same tier of loot bag can be reclaimed for free by talking to the safe-cracking trainer in the Thieves' Guild. Reclaiming it will reset its contents to 0%.
