Small crate (historic components) detail.png

A small crate (historic components) is a material crate that may be manufactured at an Inventor's workbench with level 20 Invention. It stores 100 Historic components, which may be transferred to the Invention pouch when the crate opened. It is tradeable, meaning the historic components it contains are indirectly tradeable.

In addition to 100 Historic components added to the crate, manufacturing the crate requires 25 Padded parts and 1 Protective component, which are not returned when the crate is opened (and the crate disappears when emptied).

Making the small crate rather than the large crate is more expensive per historic component - the large one uses 100 padded parts and 2 protective components but stores 1,000 historic components. Making 10 small crates to store 1,000 historic components would require 250 padded parts and 10 protective components.
