Sirenic armour
Sirenic armour is tier 90 ranged power armour made from sirenic scales, which are drops from various high-level monsters and require level 90 Defence to wear. These scales, along with algarum thread bought from one of three places (Ocellus, Bandit Duty Free, and the Grand Exchange), are used to create the sirenic armour, requiring level 91 to 93 Crafting for each piece and can be assisted. It is the ranged equivalent to malevolent and tectonic armour.
Sirenic armour degrades for 100,000 charges of combat before falling apart and vanishing completely ('degrades to dust'). It cannot be repaired normally, but two Sirenic armour pieces can be combined to consolidate the charges. The armour is tradeable until it is first worn, and partially worn parts are not tradeable. Once it is worn it is no longer augmentable even if not used. Augmentation dissolvers cannot be used on these items.
Dyed equipment instead turns into a broken state when fully degraded - simply adding sirenic scales to the broken piece will repair it.
Retrieving unprotected parts from a gravestone will cause the part to lose 10% of its charges. Dying in dangerous PvP will drop a fraction of the sirenic scales used to create the part, based on how degraded it was, rounded down - e.g. a mask with 52% charges remaining will drop 7 sirenic scales.
The armour set may be paired with nightmare gauntlets, which provides a significant damage increase over ascension grips in almost all situations (in some situations where nightmare gauntlets are not needed; cinderbane gloves are typically better than the raw superior stats of ascension grips). For the boot slot, elite ranger boots or pernix boots are the best choice at a reasonable cost. Flarefrost boots can be used but this choice is not recommended, due to the extremely high maintenance cost.
Sirenic armour that is above 95% charge can be upgraded into elite sirenic armour through combining the equipment with ancient scales. This applies to dyed sirenic armour as well.

Unaugmented Sirenic armour cannot be repaired and degrades to dust, and is automatically destroyed when it reaches 0% charge.
Other players can assist you to craft these items if you don't have the Crafting levels.

Augmented armour[edit | edit source]
Creation[edit | edit source]
Augmented Sirenic armour does not lose its perks when it runs out of charge. In order to create it, players must:
- Buy or craft a new set of Sirenic armour pieces.
- Augment the body and legs at an invention workbench with additional materials (listed below)

Repair[edit | edit source]
In order to repair it, players must:
- Buy or craft a new set of Sirenic armour pieces
- Augment the new body and legs at an invention workbench with additional materials (listed above)
- Combine the new body and legs with their existing perked armour. Doing so consumes the new armour pieces and retains all perks of the augmented version.

Update history[edit | edit source]
- T90 Sirenic armour can be upgraded to T92 Elite sirenic armour if they are at 95% degradation or above. This includes dyed armour.
- To upgrade augmented armours, right-click/long-press on ancient scales or draconic energy and 'use' them on the armours.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Sirenic armour was graphically updated with the Temple of Aminishi update on 25 June 2018.
- According to the examine text on the sirenic scales, the scales are part of a cloth created by Remora, a siren featured in the quest Song from the Depths.
