Raw sillago is a fish that may be caught on Whale's Maw in the Arc region at level 92 fishing, and may also be found washed ashore on uncharted isles. It may be sold for 2 chimes at Fish Oil Sales by speaking to Salmon Max (fish merchant) on Waiko. Three raw sillago can be cooked into fish oil at level 91 Cooking, or burned to produce burnt sillago. A crystal fishing rod cannot be used to catch sillago.

At the big net fishing spots on Whale's Maw raw sillago are caught in combination with raw seerfish. At level 99, fishing at these spots grants around 74,000 experience and 650 chimes an hour. Using a fishing outfit, fury shark outfit (with 7% catch boost), fishing rod-o-matic with Honed 5 and Furnace 3 perks and perfect juju fishing potion grants 115,850 experience and 890 chimes an hour.

• patch 16 January 2017 (Update):
  • Cooking sillago now correctly requires 91 Cooking, instead of 92.

• patch 10 October 2016 (Update):
  • Seerfish/Sillago now require levels 90/91/92 Fishing, down from 92/94.

  • Tarpon, seerfish and sillago models had their colours adjusted slightly in order to differentiate between them easier.

Trivia

Sillagos can be seen swimming in the fishing spots within the Arc region.

• Sillagos, along with tarpons, seerfish, and wobbegongs were the first fish to be visible in fishing spots prior to being caught.
• Previous to 10 October 2016, fishing for raw sillago required level 94 Fishing and gave 270 experience.
