The camel staff is a two-handed magic weapon that requires level 85 Magic to wield, and can be received as a drop from Camel Warriors. The camel staff has a passive effect called Camel Sandstorm, which reduces an opponent's accuracy by 5% and has a damage-over-time effect. The staff provides infinite fire runes - making the camel staff the highest tier staff to provide infinite runes of any type. This means that only blood or death runes are required to constantly cast Blood spells of the Ancient Magicks spellbook with this staff.
The damage-over-time effect of the staff summons a sandstorm that strikes the target 6 times for 150 life points each hit (totalling in 900 damage) with 1.2 seconds apart from each hit (duration of 7.2 seconds). The accuracy debuff lasts for 9.6 seconds. The effect has a 10% chance of occurring from using abilities or auto-attacks.
This effect is not affected by the ultimates Metamorphosis and Sunshine. It is also unaffected by the Scrimshaw of the elements as well as the superior version. It is, however, affected by curse and vulnerability.
The staff will degrade to a broken state after 60,000 charges of combat (but loses 2 charges per hit, so has a minimum duration of 5 hours of combat). It can be fixed by Repair NPCs such as Bob in Lumbridge, or at an armour stand in a player-owned house. A full repair, without discounts, costs 4,125,000 coins.
The camel staff can be augmented using an augmentor.

The base repair cost of the Camel staff when completely degraded to 0.0% item charge is 4,125,000 coins. It can be repaired by:
Alternatively, it can be repaired on an armour stand in a player-owned house or on a whetstone device anywhere. This provides a discount of 0.5% per Smithing level (including boosts).
If it is only partially degraded, then the cost of a full repair is multiplied by the percentage of item charge that needs to be repaired to produce the current repair cost.
