Rune Goldberg machine is the machine used for the Rune Goldberg Machine D&D.
This information has been compiled as part of the update history project. Some updates may not be included - see here for how to help out!
- patch 8 December 2014 (Update):
- The icons used on this machine have been changed to be more identifiable for colour-blind players.
- The name is a reference to Rube Goldberg machines, which are devices or contraptions set up to perform simple tasks in an overly complicated manner. One famous example of this sort of apparatus is the game Mouse Trap, where players can set up their own.
- The examine text for the machine ("A large rune collider.") is likely a reference to the Large Hadron Collider, a powerful machine near Geneva that is used to create fundamental particles at high energies.
