No. This is being taken WAY to far. It's just a wiki event, we don't need to boast about it everywhere. We already have a fourm AND a subpage for Ilyas AND it's been posted on just about everyones talk page, not to mention this is about the only thing talked about on the IRC. And now this. I'm supprised that this wasn't deleted already. This has nothing to do with the wiki that every other event does. It's kinda unfair how this gets a HUGE amount of coverage but other events can't have that. Tes ^Fan 01:59, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Ilyas is correct. Because the wiki is young, we don't have a long history of celebration. The Wikifest is becoming our seasonal event. It acts as a consolidated festival that should combine other parties. Why have several events with measly results when you could have one major-anticipated blast? The year may be dotted with birthdays and other parties, but the Wikifest should be something to look forward to. Hyenaste^talk 22:22, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Mods/Vounteers

I think the people helping should be called volunteers so nobody gets the "idea" that we are mods, just helping the wikifest move forward
