stop whining[edit source]
This is bullcrap, there is nothing dishonorable about PJing. The wild is a free for all, stop crying or get the hell out. --Degenret01 12:16, March 26, 2011 (UTC)
- Oh? I would beg to differ. I think your image of pjing is someone that randomly attacks with claws in the hopes of taking someone out before they can react, thats actually rushing. Pjing is when a player disrupts a fight with a spec wep like Korasi's sword, possibly the cheapest weapon ever made (hits through prayer, never misses, up to 150% max hit, magic damage). As to the thought of pjing being "dishonourable", i agree with that too. Not for some silly little pkers who consider themselves 8th century samurais with "codes" to killing each other, but for the fact that these pjers are exploiting bugs in jagex's combat system which allow such disruptions. This comes under the "honour" section of jagex's rules :3 - [Pharos] iPhone Edit 12:55, March 26, 2011 (UTC)
The Protect Magic prayer/curse is effective against most types of PJing, including Teleblock(which the OP failed to mention in the article), Ice Barrage, and Korasi Sword(It will still hit, but does less damage). Or, if you see a PJer next to you with Claws/GS, protect Melee. When you're attacked by a PJer you can't see, they almost always use a Magic attack.
Yes, it's annoying, but you have to live with it. It's going to happen. The only thing you can do is learn to live with it. Yelling at your computer screen and PM flaming the person who killed you is going to get nowhere. Let's be honest. How many of you have never attacked someone not at full health/prayer? The best things to do are learn to live with it or just stop PKing if you get that pissed over it.21:29, May 10, 2011 (UTC)
