RuneScape talk:Don't edit userpages
A couple of times when I've deleted duplicate images I've gone to user pages and pointed the link to the version that survived. Should fixing broken links be codified in this policy as allowable? And what about links to articles that will never exist - can these be removed and turned to plain text?
Fixing duplicate / moved images is fine in my opinion, but I'm not sure about the second.
- I have been "fixing" some broken links that I saw after seeing them by following the community portal. Some of these are to users and signatures that no longer exist and are not supposed to be recreated, in that case I DO change the link to text. If we are not supposed to do this then it should say so at the top of Special:Wantedpages to avoid mistakes. --Varthlokkur 04:24, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Can we remove a mainspace category, since many people do not wish to see a user's sandbox in a category about food?10:34, May 21, 2010 (UTC)
