Why did you join the RuneScape Wiki, Calebchiam?
- Well, I first came across the RuneScape Wiki when I found the link to it in the reference list of the Wikipedia RuneScape article. In all honestly, I didn't know anything about editing
, but I thought "Well, it can't hurt to just sign up", so that's what I did.
Do you support what Jagex did on December 10?
- I'm quite supportive of Jagex's actions on December 10, 2007
. I've never been much of a pker myself, and thus wasn't too much affected, but I do believe that Jagex made the right call in fighting back against real world trading. I feel that their actions were warranted and necessary.
When did you join the RuneScape Wiki?
- I joined the RuneScape Wiki on the 5th of June, 2008 (if I'm not mistaken).
What do you think was the greatest update for RuneScape?
- Greatest update
? I'm not sure, I've never thought about it that way. I don't have a specific update that I like in particular, but I think that the greatest updates to RuneScape are whenever a new skill is released. I enjoy the thrill of being there when a skill is released and try it out immediately.
What is your greatest contribution to the RuneScape Wiki?
- I can't exactly say that any specific edit is my greatest contribution, I guess you could say that some of my work with some of the clean herb articles are some of my best contributions. This was back in late December though. I revamped the article to make it easier to read and more understandable with some "word equations"
.
Do you think free players should have more features?
- As a free player for about 3/4 of every year, I've found the free-to-play is quite enjoyable as it is. The only complaint I have is the lack of bank space due to my transitioning from pay-to-play to free-to-play, so maybe more bank space would be nice. More updates (e.g. new areas, quests) are more than welcome of course
.
Do you think that being a member is worth it?
- I've found that playing as member is far more enjoyable due to the frequent updates and a much wider playing field, as well as dynamic minigames (such as Stealing Creation). It's the reason why I become a member whenever it's the holidays
. So yes, being a member is worth it.
How do you feel about being User of the Month?
- Well, it's nice I suppose. To me, User of the Month is a token of appreciation sort of thing. So yeah, it's pretty neat to be User of the Month
.
Thank you for your time, Calebchiam.
