Money making guide/Crafting dragonstone bracelets[edit source]

This is a duplicate of Money making guide/Crafting dragonstone jewellery#Bracelets, but worse.

Keep and update - When guides get to the point where they are entirely within tabbers they should just be seperate guides. Its messy and hard to maintain. Lava hawk.png BlackHawk (Talk)    06:48, 17 November 2021 (UTC)

The "hard to maintain" bit is actually what I'd use to describe not using the tabber-ised version. Right now, the details section could be moved outside of the tabber since the entire process is identical for all items. The fact that there are slight wording and formatting variations among the three tabs at present actually reflects the "messy and hard to maintain" aspect of having the content duplicated across separate guides. Comment - I think informally we've come to the conclusion that it would be preferable to replace all guides that use tabber with individual guides as the tabbers mess up how the guides are listed in the overall table on the mmg page. I'd welcome opinions here from editors who were more vocally opposed to tabber, but it seems like the tabber guide should probably be retained and de-tabbered into a guide for the unstrung amulets (the other 2 methods already have separate guides). I do think it would be very useful to have some kind of comparison table within the guide that lists the related guides and their profit in case people are not navigating from the main mmg, to avoid them overlooking that there is a near identical method which may be more profitable. Delete - It may have been true in the past that tabber guides "mess up how the guides are listed in the overall table," but at present this doesn't seem to be the case. It seems like it just comes down to a matter of style. As I do not have an aversion to all things that use tabbers, I don't really have a problem with them here or other guides where the only real difference is in swapping out inputs and outputs for different sets. If that swap necessitates changing much information in the "details" section of the guide, yeah, I would agree with splitting them into separate guides. But that's not applicable here. I do like the idea of adding a comparison table that shows you the costs and profits of all of the related methods whenever a guide uses tabbers. MrDew (talk) 04:06, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
