Passed[edit source]

Wizard Grayzag[edit source]

Such an excellent page, it is very detailed in every bits of details, if anything deserves to be featured is this page. It has all needed information written there and even if there are spelling errors, than can be fixed

Support- as nominator User:Chiro9

Support - No doubt that it has at least some typos or erroneously phrased stuff, but that can always be corrected and it's a great article. *cough* User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 17:19, February 20, 2013 (UTC)

Support - There are no typos. Blaze_fire.png12.png 09:20, February 25, 2013 (UTC)

I fixed them. I win. MolMan 21:40, February 25, 2013 (UTC)
I cleared them all, where on Gielinor did you find them? Blaze_fire.png12.png 08:38, March 6, 2013 (UTC)

Gielinor[edit source]

A very rich article, 100% updated with the new lore, has an excellent gallery, a very clear and dynamic text... RuneScape:Granularity is proud of it.

Support - As nominator and editor. Magpie.pngHallowlandtalkWoodcutting-icon.png 04:37, March 17, 2013 (UTC)

Support - This is a very well written text and deserves to be front page material. --Summoning-icon.png Draco Hunter-icon.png 05:26, March 17, 2013 (UTC)

Support - It's pretty, and well-written. Habblet (talk|c) 13:13, March 17, 2013 (UTC)

Support - As much as I'd prefer not to use a single video far around half the images, it's a credit to the wiki. cqm 20:52, 19 Mar 2013 (UTC) (UTC)

Sure - Barring all the creationist ideals, it's actually a nice article. Engaging and complete, but it could use better image placement. MolMan 21:06, March 19, 2013 (UTC)

Supportish - Needs better image aligning and could use some extra text for each paragraph but, in general, looks worthy. User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 21:14, March 22, 2013 (UTC)

Support - Image placement was a bit odd, as Monty has said, but after moving them around I think it looks good. Well-written article. Ronan Talk 10:25, March 27, 2013 (UTC)

Support - Extremely well written, a bit too many pictures, some fancy realigning would be needed, or creation of a media section on the page. --A Guest. 01:42 March 28, 2013 (UTC)  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.179.191.180 (talk).

Lumbridge[edit source]

I believe this page has everything written on where everything can be found and all points of interests and its graphical overhauls, from town article, Lumbridge is probably the most excellent page and should have been featured long ago.

Feature it - as nominator User:Chiro9

Support - I do agree that it is a good page. Hair 01:46, April 2, 2013 (UTC)

Support - Written fairly well, plenty of images, decent organisation, excellent length. Me like! User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 17:31, April 3, 2013 (UTC)

Support - It's an article everyone can relate to and it's good for   news visiters to find Information about Lumbridge they may not have known. Also It's the starting town so brand new players of Runescape can get all the info they need. Privatetuker 11:11, April 4, 2013 (UTC)

Ok - It's a neat, comprehensive article with nice history and descriptions. Quite a few lists, and could maybe do with just a few more images, but overall one of our most solid pages. Ronan Talk 18:02, April 4, 2013 (UTC)

Support - looks good. All info you would wanna have about Lumby can be found on there, and everything that can be described is described really well. Looks like a FART to me. JOEYTJE50TALKpull my finger 12:20, April 11, 2013 (UTC)

Closed - Yes check.svg Lumbridge will be featured. Hair 12:39, April 11, 2013 (UTC)

Failed[edit source]

Zamorak[edit source]

Earlier nomination(s): εἴς, δύο & τρεῖς
Reason: No longer a list of items, but a well-written article with an extensive history section accompanied by some appropriate and soothing images. Also, the list of important followers isn't just a list, but has a short explanation of every individual. Also, it's long. Apparently, that counts. • Comment - What's with the fake "earlier nominations"? It's not funny, it's just confusing for anyone who's going to read this later. Ancient talisman.png Oil4 Talk 15:04, May 7, 2013 (UTC)
Well... User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 15:57, May 7, 2013 (UTC)
I can't believe I just noticed this... That wasn't a "fake". It's linked because fishing was article of the month in August of 2006. MolMan 21:06, May 15, 2013 (UTC)
  • Oppose - The article is boring. Look:
"While Azzanadra defended Senntisten, the other Zarosians attempted to conquer the Ritual Site. An atrocious monstrosity called Nex, feared by the gods themselves, led these actions. The Saradominist forces managed to lure Nex and her armies into an icy cavern, realising she was unstoppable, where she was magically sealed. The Saradominists then built the Temple of Lost Ancients around it to mark their victory. Soon, other gods began to participate in the war; Armadyl sent forth his Aviantese and Bandos arrived to Gielinor, only to find that most races had already aligned themselves with a god, thus forcing him to steal goblins from Yu'Biusk and win other less intelligent races for himself so that he could fight in the war. Concurrently, the vampyres, led by Drakan, conquered the Hallowland and took over its capital Hallowvale, ending the peaceful reign of the Icyene there. Demon armies began the Kharidian Campaign, turning the lands into a desert while at it. During the Battle of Uzer, Thammaron and his armies destroyed most of the city, but were eventually defeated by the combined forces of the elite golems, the troops of Queen Senliten and Azzanadra. It took another combined effort of Zamorakians and Saradominists to bring Azzanadra to his knees and imprison him in the Jaldraocht Pyramid. Meanwhile, Balfrug Kreeyath's armies advanced to the southern polis of Ullek and sent it straight to oblivion."
It's written in a "and then this happened and then that happened oh and this and that also happened" style. That's the way 12-year-olds write essays, not the way a proper featured article should be written. Ancient talisman.png Oil4 Talk 15:08, May 7, 2013 (UTC)
I didn't think that was boring. Your statement is subjective. HaidroH rune.pngEagle feather 3.pngCandle (blood red).png 1XqyDNM.png Crystal triskelion fragment 3.pngHazelmere's signet ring.png 10:30, May 8, 2013 (UTC)
As opposed to "the article is well-written" which is 100% objective? Come on, this nomination started with "No longer a list of items," when the above paragraph is clearly a list of items. Ancient talisman.png Oil4 Talk 17:20, May 8, 2013 (UTC)
It's one paragraph that (yes) lists a number of atrocious events of the God Wars, which all involved Zamorak, be it directly or indirectly. For example, his attempt to claim the godsword and the outcome of his rewarding of Thammaron are in it. Either way, this is just one paragraph in the entire article, and they are most definitely not all sum-ups. User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 17:46, May 8, 2013 (UTC)
It's a featured article. We put this on the front page. One shitty paragraph is too many. Ancient talisman.png Oil4 Talk 21:29, May 8, 2013 (UTC)
I fail to see how it is 'shitty', sorry. The 'sum up'ish style fits this section in fact, as it gives a feeling of horror to the reader, with the terrible events of the God Wars stacking each other. User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 06:49, May 9, 2013 (UTC)
It reminds me of High School history. "And then the Germans invaded Poland and then the Soviets invaded Poland and then nothing happened and then Denmark was invaded oh and Norway and then France and Holland and stuff happened..." It's just a list of things that happened. That is not a bad thing in itself - Gielinor pulls it off, but that's because it's written not in a summing-up-style but like an actual history book written by an actual historian and not a bored 60 year old teacher. Ancient talisman.png Oil4 Talk 19:24, May 16, 2013 (UTC)
  • Support- it is well written and detailed Zoli Ben
  • Support - For glory of Lord Zamorak. Blaze_fire.png12.png 14:22, May 8, 2013 (UTC)
  • Oppose - Too much of the article is just quick-fire facts. Very little of the article is actually that interesting either, and there's even a bit of speculation when the article claims that the Iowerth clan is trying to return him to Gielinor - it's never been mentioned that the Dark Lord is Zamorak. Also,
Zamorak's followers remained and, throughout the Fourth and Fifth Ages, would cause quite some chaos around the world.
— Tiny things like this sound a bit odd and just bring the article down.
  • Support - It is well written, has the key points, and stays on topic. I personally like how it generally reads, but I can see how it's not for everyone.

  • Isn't that the point of a featured article thought? That it is for everyone? Ancient talisman.png Oil4 Talk 19:24, May 16, 2013 (UTC)
  • Oppose - It's quite dull, and not all followers have a description. Also, δύο and τρεῖς should be removed from the earlier nominations as they are misleading. Temujin 06:15, May 22, 2013 (UTC)

Closed - No consensus to feature the article. Suppa chuppa Talk 00:16, May 24, 2013 (UTC)

Gods[edit source]

This page is really well written, comprehensive and informative. It's referenced well and makes good use of images and tables. 04ismailjj6 (talk) 15:04, October 18, 2013 (UTC)

Good idea, we are in the years of the gods, so why not?Quest.png Adventurerrr Talk Quest.png 15:07, October 18, 2013 (UTC)

Oppose - The page reads very poorly. While there's nothing blatantly wrong about the syntax and grammar, the page is boring to read. The sentence structures are all dull and uninteresting; featured articles should be good reads. I don't see any "good uses" of tables... that's not even a good selling point. Once the real beef of the article is gone through, you have mostly filler junk about every god for what seems like just for the sake of having it. It sounds odd to say, but there's too much information. Well, I can make it less odd by pointing out that most of the information is pointless fluff. There's only so much that should be said about each individual god. With that, there's crap there about beings that are not even gods. Iban? Bob? What the hell?... MolMan 19:02, October 19, 2013 (UTC)

Weak oppose - The history part decently sums up the most relevant information about gods in general while not going about individual gods' history too much, but, other than that, like Mol said, there isn't a lot to the page. The lead paragraphs are fine but not really coherent with each other, and the rest of the article, face it, is just a list (albeit detailed). And one that isn't very well organised either. It'd be better to improve individual gods' pages and to nominate those, for they'd make much better articles. User_talk:Fswe1 Fswe1 Brassica Prime symbol.png 15:40, October 20, 2013 (UTC)

Oppose - Yes it starts off strong and gives good information about the major gods, but really after that it tends to get weak, with paragraphs and images being very small. Itchlarin's picture for example is tiny. There's also that huge list of would be gods at the bottom which really does not belong on the article. Like fuswell said, better to focus on an individual god's page rather than this list What I've done Ciphrius Kane Talk 00:22, October 22, 2013 (UTC)
