New Wiki Launch Party

In celebration of our recently forked RuneScape Wiki, we will be hosting an in-game launch party, filled with activities and prizes! Anyone is welcome to join - whether you are a former editor, current editor, RSW clan member, guest in the RSW clan, or just use the wiki. See this page for the event program, recommended items/quests, and a gallery of images taken at the event.

Before the event[edit source]

There are no requirements to participate, technically, but for some of the events we do recommend the following:

Costume(s) of your choice to participate in the costume contests. You may participate in more than one category, which are listed later.
A Princess blouse and a Princess skirt, or Prince tunic and Prince leggings for Princess and the Frog (Hide-and-Seek). Items are buyable from Iffie's Random Costume Shop in Thessalia's Fine Clothes in Varrock for 3,500.

For this costume contest, we are having 5 categories with the following descriptions. Please see the Gallery section at the bottom of the page for images of the winning outfits for each category. Also please keep examine settings set to "anyone" for the contests. You are free to participate in as many of the categories as you wish.

Winners and Prizes[edit source]

One winner and one runner-up for each category are chosen by judges comprising of events team members. The prizes are the following:

Winner: 5,000,000
Runner-up: 2,000,000

Prizes will be handed out after all categories have been judged. Please note that although you are free to participate in multiple rounds, you will not receive multiple prizes if you win more than once.

Times are tentative, and we may spend more or less time on a given activity on the actual day of the event.

Meet n' greet	20:00-20:15	RSW Clan Citadel	Everyone will arrive at the Keep in the RSW Clan Citadel to meet up. Feel free to dance in the party room, or show off your talents in the theatre!
Group pictures	20:15-20:25	RSW Clan Citadel	Everyone will line up in different fun formations to take some pictures as we also wait for latecomers.
Princess and the Frog (Hide-and-seek)	20:50-21:25	Gielinor	Required: Princess outfit or Prince outfit Take off your overrides and dress as the prettiest princess (or prince) for Princess and the Frog! A classic game of hide and seek, except the hiders are frogs and the seekers are princesses/princes. We'll give a hint for each hiding spot, with the winner being the first princess/prince to find and perform the Blow Kiss emote to our frog (you must be dressed as a princess/prince to win!).
Costume contests	21:30-21:50	Lumbridge Crater	Optional: Costume(s) Everyone participating in the costume contests will put on their outfits and be judged by a panel. Winners will each receive a prize and have their photos taken for the Gallery at the bottom of the page.
Cabbage bombing conga line	21:50-22:00	Lumbridge Crater, Lumbridge Cabbage Fields, Falador Party Room	Grab your cabbages (or, pick some up on the way) and join the conga line as we make our way to the Falador Party Room!
Drop party	22:00-	Falador Party Room	The party ends at the Falador Party Room, where a variety of items will be put into the chest for the drop party!
