Battle of the Archipelago[edit source]

I want to nominate another very well written article this month. While this article doesn't have the quantity of some articles, it has increadible quality that is matched by very few articles. The page perfectly fits the criteria and I feel it is definitly worthy of of the honour of Article of the Month. Unicorn horn dust.png Evil Yanks talk07:19, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Neutral - It's a wonderful article but it really doesn't show that interest factor. Runecrafting.gif Mo 55 55 Talk|Sign 10:03, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

comment - What do you mean by intrest factor?? If you mean it isn't mainstream enough, I would prefer a more obscure article it to just another random skill. Unicorn horn dust.png Evil Yanks talk10:33, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
I kinda agree with Mo 55 55. It doesn't sound that interesting at first glance. If you look at it this way, would you rather read about the main arch villain in While Guthix Sleeps, the largest and hardest quest out there, or about a lil' pirate battle few have heard of? Oppose - It's not got a really lot of information, just mainly pictures and links to other pages. Nephilim RetiredGuthix stole.png

Support - It has some good information in it, has a nice amount of pictures, displaying the battle well, and is written to document a historic event good. ~MuzTalk 14:27, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Support - Wow, this is a really well-written article, and one of the best Battle pages been written so far, IMO. I support this for sure. Asparagoose 20:25, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Oppose - Per Requiem, there's barely any information in it. And I never heard of this before, maybe because I haven't done any pirate quests yet. From what I see about this article, it's just about a battle, not a city or npc. Dragon claw.png Zezzima Talk Edit # SkillsFile:Turmoil.gif|Yay turmoil! 21:05, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

But, the history of RuneScape is important to know, because if a person doesn't, many storylines wouldn't make much sense to the player. How did Lumbridge become the way it is today? It's the history that bring together the plots and storylines of a quest, city, or anything else, even non-player characters. ~MuzTalk 21:19, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I agree, but there barely any information, and it's not about Lumbridge - even if you were using an example. It's not good to have a page where theres little information and tons of links to NPCs. Nephilim RetiredGuthix stole.png
