Ruby necklace detail.png

A ruby necklace is made by using a gold bar, a ruby and a necklace mould on a furnace. It requires a Crafting level of 40 and gives 75 experience when made. Making this item will result in a profit of 1,160 coins.

A player enchanting a ruby necklace.

The ruby necklace may be enchanted into a Dig Site pendant after learning the enchantment spell from one of the other Archaeologists cleaning samples at the Varrock Museum. The spell is learned by participating in cleaning samples until a Clean necklace is extracted from a sample. When brought to an expert, the expert will teach the player how to enchant ruby necklaces. After this, Ruby Necklaces are enchanted by using the Enchant Level 3 Jewellery which requires level 49 Magic.

It may also be combined with 60 Radiant energy to create a Sign of the porter V which requires 88 Divination.
