Royal dragonhide chaps detail.png

The royal dragonhide chaps are a piece of royal dragonhide armour, made by crafting two royal dragon leathers. Wearing them requires 65 Defence. They require 89 Crafting to make and give 188 Crafting experience. Their stats are higher than black dragonhide chaps, and they have the same armour rating as the Armadyl chainskirt but offer neither damage nor prayer bonuses.

They are commonly used as an upgrade from black dragonhide armour for players who can't afford Armadyl armour and melee users who require armour with good magic defence that does not degrade.
