The quest point hood is the skillcape hood associated with having completed all quests. Players may buy the hood alongside the Quest point cape from the Wise Old Man in Draynor for 99,000 coins, provided that they have completed all quests. The hood's counterpart, the Quest point cape, however, provides moderate defensive stats. The hood is of a solid white.

While the hood is bought with the skillcape, it is not needed to perform the emote associated with it; the skillcape is the only essential item. Along with the cape, the hood may be stored in the Cape rack of a player-owned house. Should players lose the hood, they may purchase it, along with the skillcape, from the Wise Old Man for an additional 99,000 coins. The hood itself provides absolutely no offensive or defensive bonuses and may be worn for purely aesthetic purposes.

When new quests are released, raising the quest point maximum, the hood will become unequipped and owners of the hood will have to complete the new quests before being allowed to wear it. When unequipped (after a new quest) the hood and cape will go into the player's inventory if there is enough room, or into the player's bank. If there is neither room in the player's inventory nor in the player's bank, the hood will find its way to the Wise Old Man, who can give it back to the player free of charge. The same limitations apply to keepsaked versions, which will instead be hidden from the override list.

This item is the only Cape of Achievement Hood that can be spawned using a rotten potato.
