A purple balloon is a smaller version of a hot air balloon made during the Enlightened Journey quest to test the scientific principles of a hot air balloon. The purple balloon is created by using purple dye on an origami balloon. Making a coloured balloon is optional, and will have the same effect in the quest as a standard balloon.
Despite its right-click text saying Drop, attempting to drop this item will prompt Destroy text and destroy the item if accepted.
