Pontificis were the leaders of the Zarosian church during the Second Age. The currently known pontificis were Bilrach, Enakhra, Jhallan, Madromurt, Mizzarch, Nabor and Palkeera. Azzanadra was the head of the church and was therefore bestowed the rank of Pontifex Maximus.
