Player-owned ports enhancer detail.png

The player-owned ports enhancer is a reward enhancer that grants a player-owned port random event reward when activated. It can be received from the Motherlode Maw's daily random reward (requiring level 115 Dungeoneering, level 95 in all other non-elite skills, and completion of Plague's End); there is also a chance of obtaining it by trading Wythien ten crystal motherlode shards or from Meg's questions if the Adventurer in Training perk is taken at May's Quest Caravan. It can also be bought from the Elite Dungeon Reward Shop for 50,000 Dungeoneering tokens (46,500 with Warped gorajan trailblazer outfit).

It can be activated from the enhancer management interface at Wythien, which consumes one charge and awards one reward from a player-owned port random event, including adventurer, captain, crew, and voyage rerolls, as well as stat-boosting items. If the reward obtained is at its maximum amount already, the enhancer will use a charge but give nothing, generating the message "The reward you would have gained was maxed out. Use the random event rewards from Player-Owned Ports to ensure you gain a reward."

An unfocused reward enhancer can be converted into player-owned ports enhancer charges by Wythien, granting three charges per unfocused enhancer. If the enhancer effect is unwanted, five player-owned ports enhancer charges can be converted into one crystal motherlode shard by Wythien.

The enhancer item can no longer be obtained, following the 17 June 2019 update. Upon obtaining an enhancer, it is converted into charges in Wythien's enhancer management interface; all existing enhancers are converted upon login. Any enhancers mistakenly obtained cannot be used; the only action available is to convert them into charges (or to destroy them).
