Pillar of light

A pillar of light is found in Night-gazer Khighorahk's room. Lighting them reduces the Night-gazer's Defence. The boss is immune to all damage unless at least one pillar is lit, and having more of them lit will increase the damage that can be dealt. Players within 2 squares of a pillar will take damage if it goes out. In the second stage of the boss fight, the pillars remain permanently lit and full damage can be dealt.

As a team, a good way to take down the Night-gazer is to have 1 or 2 players (depending on the team size) constantly relighting the torches, and have the rest of the team attacking the boss.
