Piercing Shot is a basic Ranged ability, with no level requirement. It deals 18.8 to 94% ability damage or 37.6 to 188% ability damage if the target is stunned or bound. Its short, three second cooldown makes it useful to quickly gain adrenaline. The Melee and Magic equivalents of Piercing shot are Punish and Wrack, respectively.
Binding Shot or Tight Bindings deal a bind for ten seconds, enough to boost the damage of three piercing shots. However, against stun-immune monsters such as bosses, Piercing Shot's bonus effect is of no use unless they are stunned with dreadnips.
The Energising perk will make Piercing Shot deal 20% less damage, but it will generate an additional 0.6% adrenaline per rank instead.
