Paul features in the Slime is of the Essence Treasure Hunter promotional event that is set in Rimmington. He could usually be found in close proximity to Barry.

On the second and fourth day of the event, Paul and Barry disappeared. On the third day of the event, Paul and Barry inspected the explosives being made. For the fifth, they returned with an idea to move King Slime to another location with a magical rift.
