Optimal PvM Perk Setup

The purpose of this page is to provide the player with optimized PvM perks for most high end situations. The 'Ancient gizmos' blueprint (1,121,862) or the untradeable version, 'Ancient gizmos' blueprint (untradeable), from Ancient Invention is required to make Ancient gizmos. These combinations aim to have the best perk ranks of Aftershock, Biting, Precise, and Equilibrium on at all times, keeping in mind that there exist certain combinations that are either too rare, too expensive, or both.
Both the Weapon perk setups and the Armour perk setups have an entry and an advanced setup.
 Entry: The perks in the entry setups primarily use ancient gizmos (though there are some that use regular gizmos). Aftershock is usually not considered (as the components are better saved for the advanced setup).
 Advanced: The perks in the advanced setups are all almost completely ancient gizmos. The goal is to try and maintain the highest ranks of considered perks (including switches).
Most of the perks/perk combinations have the highest probability to obtain at level 120 Invention along with an Extreme invention potion. However, some have the highest probability at levels below 120 (and without the potion). The Invention level can be lowered by Goraks or more easily by the the icy, cold area before the entrance to the God Wars Dungeon.
Important: The Probability link on each perk combination will load the appropriate materials, gizmo, Invention level, and whether or not an Invention potion is used, into the perk calculator. In addition, it is recommended that users read the Notes that accompany any specific perk setup as there may be relevant information.

The placement of the perks on the weapons are placed in such a way so as to give high damage output for certain abilities that can make use the Flanking and Lunging perks.

The placement of the perks on the weapons are placed in such a way so as to maintain Aftershock stacks while also giving high damage output for certain abilities that can make use the Flanking and Lunging perks. Certain perks, such as Ruthless, are placed on weapons for situations where it would make sense to have (such as the Elite Dungeons). Certain weapons, such as the Seren godbow, are perked in such a way to make use of their special attack. Because the Seren godbow in this setup is primarily used for the special attack, it is considered a switch and therefore only Aftershock 1 is placed on it in order to not lose stacks (and is also why the highest ranks of Precise and Equilibrium are on the weapon).

Ruthless is not necessarily needed. Chance of getting at least Equibrium 4 is 98.16%. Because the Seren godbow in this setup is primarily used for its special attack, it is considered a switch and therefore only Aftershock 1 is placed on it in order to not lose stacks. For this same reasoning, the highest ranks of Precise and Equilibrium are placed on the weapon.

These perks are setup in such a way as to always have high ranks of Biting, Crackling, Impatient, and Enhanced Devoted on the armour without being too expensive or too rare. Furthermore, there are many secondary armour perks that can be pairied with Biting 2 and Impatient 4.

These perks are setup in such a way as to always have the highest ranks of Biting, Crackling, Impatient, and Relentless on the armour. Furthermore, there are many secondary armour perks that can be pairied with Biting and Impatient. The last armour perk slot is suggested to be the highest rank of Invigorating and its many possible combinations with secondary perks or a more defensive choice, Enhanced Devoted.
