Off-hand ripper claw detail.png

An off-hand ripper claw is a level 85 off-hand melee weapon that can be obtained as a drop from Ripper Demons. When wielded along with a ripper claw, the claws deal more damage the further the target's health is below 50%.

The claw will degrade to a broken state after 60,000 charges of combat (but loses 2 charges per hit, so has a minimum duration of 5 hours of combat). It can be fixed by equipment repairers such as Bob in Lumbridge, or at an armour stand in a player-owned house. A full repair, without discounts, costs 1,250,000 coins.

Due to its low price and high repair costs, it may be cheaper to cast High Level Alchemy on it or disassemble and buy a new one, rather than repair it.

It can be augmented using an augmentor.

Repair cost[edit | edit source]

This item costs at most 1,250,000 coins to repair completely. The repair cost is precisely calculated by the degradation percentage (i.e. with 75% charge remaining, a full repair would only cost 312,500 coins). It may be repaired through a variety of methods.

Non-player characters[edit source]

These methods cost more as they do not consider player's Smithing level for a repair discount.

Improved methods[edit source]

These methods provide a repair cost discount of 0.5% per Smithing level (including boosts):
