Off-hand drygore longsword (Third Age) detail.png

The Third Age-dyed off-hand drygore longsword is made by dyeing a off-hand drygore longsword with Third Age dye. This process is irreversible, and the dyed version is untradeable. It has the same combat bonuses and degradation/repair mechanics as the regular off-hand drygore longsword: it will degrade after 60,000 charges of combat (but loses 2 per hit, giving a minimum time of 5 hours of combat).

It can be repaired using 5,000 chitin scraps. Currently, the cost of a full repair using chitin scraps if purchased from the Grand Exchange would be 375,000 coins.

Alternative methods of repair are listed below.

Making a Third Age-dyed off-hand drygore longsword costs 2,203,398,138 coins.

Repair cost[edit | edit source]

The base repair cost of the Off-hand drygore longsword (Third Age) when completely degraded to 0.0% item charge is 1,500,000 coins. It can be repaired by:

Alternatively, it can be repaired on an armour stand in a player-owned house, or a whetstone device anywhere. This provides a discount of 0.5% per Smithing level (including boosts).

If it is only partially degraded, then the cost of a full repair is multiplied by the percentage of item charge that needs to be repaired to produce the current repair cost.
