Naressa's journal is an item which is dropped by various nodon dragonkin at the Nodon Front in Senntisten. It is a guaranteed drop after killing 1,600 Nodon dragonkin. Players who have a Lorehound with the "Lore Helper" upgrade will have an increased drop rate of finding the journal while killing Nodon. Handing it in to Naressa completes the Dragonkin Diary achievement, which is a requirement for the master quest cape.
If the player received the journal drop but did not pick it up, it can be found in the player-owned house bookcase.

Transcript[edit | edit source]
Must. Fight. Against.
I'm awake, for now at least.
Day 2, unknown year
It's hard to gather a coherent thought in the daze of waking, but I'm trying. I think it's slowly improving.
Day 4, unknown year
My lucidity fades in and out. I'm struggling to stay completely in control, but my waking moments are becoming less and less fleeting by the day.
Day 7, unknown year
I could tell – as soon as I woke. There's a clear difference between thinking you're awake in a dream, and actually being awake. You're conscious. Aware of your surroundings. Refreshingly sober. Sentient control over your own actions.
Day 8, unknown year
The surroundings here are... foreign. I do not recognise any aspect of this glorious city. This is not the luscious foliage I am used to, but the architectural skill does surprisingly compare. We Nodon train for years – specialising in designing and constructing. As such, we were primarily the ones to build up Orthen – houses, temples, laboratories – to build a home to be proud of. This city is certainly a worthy rival. The materials are clearly of the highest quality, having stood the test of time (as made apparent by the overgrowth), yet there is not a crack to be seen. How I would love to meet the creator, who paid such care and attention to this fine ornamentation, and lavish colours. Perhaps even I could learn something. Could be a worse place to be stuck in, I suppose.
Day 10, unknown year
Of course this would happen. As powerful as we may think we are, we were never a match for a Roakin. The other creeds were foolish to think otherwise, yet, I wonder what became of them. Are they still out there? Can we be saved, or are we doomed to this curse for eternity? It could be said that we were the bigger fools in the end, to have our own technology used against us. Vek.
Day 12, unknown year
I keep writing 'unknown year', which I realise is not very helpful. Unfortunately, I haven't the faintest idea what time period we're in. Were we sleeping for a decade? A century? A millennium? Longer? I've been quietly studying this city, trying to get a glimpse at the dusty tomes scattered about whenever our superiors aren't looking, to at least attempt to have some idea. So far, no luck.
Day 13, unknown year
It's been 13 days now, at least what I can assume from this feeble attempt at keeping track of time. No one else, from what I can tell, has any ounce of awareness. And so, I must go.I'm sorry, my brothers and sisters, you are not deserving of this fate.
