Before entering the courtroom, follow these steps:
- Read through the three case reports.
- Analyse the fingerprints. Select and confirm a match with the mugger's print.
Trial[edit | edit source]
Enter the courtroom. From this point onwards, the actions you must perform diverge based on whether you are prosecuting or defending. Follow the steps from the appropriate section below.
Prosecution[edit | edit source]
- Speak with the Judge. Present the fingerprint as evidence. This will only be successful if the print was identified before the trial.
- Present the nightstick as evidence.
- Say "This nightstick was found on the accused."
- Present the face mask as evidence.
- Say "The accused was wearing this mask when he was arrested."
- Call the arresting officer to the stand.
- Ask him about the "Nightstick."
- Call the victim, Roger Murray, to the stand.
- Ask him about the "Nightstick."
- Direct the closing statement at the elderly gentleman (not the elderly citizen).
Defence[edit | edit source]
- Speak with the Judge. Present the fingerprint as evidence. This will automatically be successful.
- Present the nightstick as evidence.
- Say "This nightstick was found on my client."
- Present the face mask as evidence.
- Say "It isn't a crime to wear a mask."
- Call the victim, Roger Murray, to the stand.
- Ask him about "The attack."
- Call the arresting officer to the stand.
- Ask him about "The victim."
- Direct the closing statement at the shady individual or shady gentleman.

- There used to be an error on the Adventurer's Log where it said "A court summons was dropped; The case is Mugger (level: 6) VS Roger Murray." even though you did not obtain this case through a drop/pickpocket.
- Following Kings Ransom, if one did not pick up the court summons from the clerk, they can receive 'Mugger V. Roger Murray' from another standard source
