A mounted bass can be built in the fishing trophy hotspot of the Skill Hall in a player-owned house. It requires level 36 Construction, 2 oak planks, and a stuffed big bass to build. Upon building it, players will receive 151 Construction experience and 151 Fishing experience.
Players can only get a stuffed bass by fishing for bass, requiring 46 Fishing, until they get a big bass. Players must then take the big bass to the Taxidermist in Canifis, who will stuff it for 1,000 coins. Once mounted however, the big bass cannot be reclaimed. If players remove the bass, they will receive nothing back. Jagex has stated that this is because mounting the bass rewards Fishing xp, and they did not want players to be able to train Fishing by removing and remounting the big bass.
