Mosaic Crystals
Mosaic Crystals is a Treasure Hunter promotion originally released on 25 January 2021. During this promotion players can select prizes from a grid of different-rarity crystals.
Mechanics[edit | edit source]
Crystals[edit | edit source]
Available prizes are shown as ten unlocked crystals in a grid for the player to choose from. The crystals are classified into white, yellow, orange, red, and purple gems, each holding a prize of the corresponding rarity. The prize inside each crystal is revealed. Selecting a crystal spends a Treasure Hunter key to claim the prize inside it and earns a progression point in the track to the side of the grid.
The crystals form horizontal and diagonal lines with a locked crystal at each line's rightmost end. Claiming all the unlocked prizes from a line automatically claims the prize from that crystal, a line prize. This doesn't spend a key.
Line prizes[edit | edit source]
Line prizes can be anywhere from 2 to 8 progression points, or a yellow, orange, or red random prize drawn from the following:
Line prizes that are not progression point prizes yield no progression points in the track.
Track[edit | edit source]
The track gives additional rewards for every five progression points which can be gained by selecting crystals and unlocking some line prizes. Selecting an unlocked crystal yields one progression point regardless of its rarity gem, and line prizes that explicitly state to give progression points do so.
The track has five tiers, and once the highest tier is reached, the bonus prizes remain at that tier after completing the track.

Refreshing[edit | edit source]
Players may refresh the crystal grid by spending oddments, with the oddment cost lowering the more prizes have already been claimed on the grid; however, doing this also resets the completion progress on the board, but does not reset the progression points for the track. Refreshing resets both crystals and line prizes. Refreshing isn't possible without any claimed prizes on the grid.
The refresh cost depends on the number of unclaimed unlocked crystals left to select on the grid, reducing as more crystals are selected. A refresh happens automatically once all the crystals have been claimed. The refresh cost is given according to the following table.
Unclaimed unlocked crystals | Refresh cost (oddments) |
---|---|
9–10 | 750 |
8 | 600 |
7 | 450 |
6 | 300 |
5 | 150 |
1–4 | 0 |
