Morchella mushrooms are grown by planting a morchella mushroom spore in the Canifis and Isafdar mushroom patches. This requires 74 Farming, giving 160 experience for planting the seed and 77.7 experience per mushroom harvested. Harvesting from a mushroom patch gives 9 mushrooms (18 with Elite Morytania achievements), instead of 6 from Bittercap mushrooms. Morchella Mushrooms take 4 hours to grow, and are not watered. These mushrooms can be used to make prayer renewal potions, requiring 94 Herblore, or 25 Morchella mushrooms are used as payment to have a farmer watch over an elder sapling.
There is no gardener at either patch to watch over your growing morchella mushrooms, but after completing the Medium achievements in the Morytania set, the mushroom patch in Canifis will no longer become diseased. Usage of the patch in Isafdar requires completion of the Medium Tirannwn achievements, although this patch can still become diseased.
