The monkeyspeak amulet (formerly known as the m'speak amulet) is a members-only amulet that allows players to talk to monkeys (including pet monkeys) while wearing it. It is also used in the Monkey Madness quest, in the freeing King Awowogei portion of the Recipe for Disaster quest, Do No Evil, and in the Trouble Brewing minigame.
The amulet is made during the quest Monkey Madness by giving monkey dentures, a monkeyspeak amulet mould and a gold bar to Zooknock, which creates an Enchanted bar. The bar is then brought to the dungeon below the Temple of Marimbo and is used on a magical flame along with the mould to create the amulet. It is then used with a ball of wool. The monkeyspeak amulet allows the player to make an alliance with King Awowogei in the Monkey Madness quest.
If lost, all the steps will have to be repeated to get it again. After you have completed Monkey Madness, you can return to Zooknock and have him make multiple amulets in one trip, provided you have all the materials to make multiple amulets. This is particularly useful in case you lose the first one and quite helpful when making more than one cramulet when doing the Do No Evil quest.
