Smithing Masterwork armour
Very strong smithable tier 90 melee power armour which is also used to repair trimmed masterwork armour.
It takes around 6 hours with all possible boosts to fully smith a set of masterwork armour, using a total of 12 glorious bars, 12 steel bars and 12 leathers, so the quantities and profit in this guide are an extrapolation.
Use of the world 70, which is themed around the Artisan's workshop, is recommended as it's more likely for there to be luminite injectors active, which allow for +2 additional progress to be achieved per hammer strike on an unfinished smithing item.
For a more AFK process if you are not using the Orthen furnace core, superheat form can be used alongside an (advanced) smithing autoheater to restore heat up to 60% every time it runs out, grace of the elves to reduce the prayer drain of superheat form and an ancient elven ritual shard to restore prayer every 5 minutes for free. Otherwise, a super prayer renewal potion can be used instead.
The Orthen furnace core eliminates prayer drain entirely on its own and is the best current method bar none when used in conjunction with the (advanced) smithing autoheater for a more AFK process.
Profit per glorious bar (does take into account cost of materials):
- Masterwork helm 1,579,566.5
- Masterwork platebody 1,532,858.7
- Masterwork platelegs 1,928,579.83
- Masterwork gloves 1,889,903.5
- Masterwork boots 2,003,263.5
Total profit of making an entire masterwork armour set: 20,515,098
