Soft clay is an item that is always in demand due to its use in Crafting. It can only be mined in Prifddinas. There is a nearby bank chest and wheel and pottery oven that can be used to craft urns.

It is recommended to do this while Voice of Seren is active in the Ithell district as the hour's effects allow a 50% chance that each soft clay will be transported directly to the player's bank. It is recommended to use bracelets of clay which double the amount of clay received.

Wearing a Grace of the Elves necklace will occasionally spawn Seren spirits, further increasing profit per hour.

If the player has a Premier artefact from the Premier Club 2019 package, they can also activate its "50% chance to act like a sign of the porter for one hour" effect once per day. Note: This effect does not stack with the Voice of Seren effect.

For a close approximation of clay mined per hour (of pure mining) based on your levels and gear see the mining rate calculator.
