This method is based in The Shadow Reef, the third Elite Dungeon.

Rather than completing the whole dungeon, players kill all the mobs (including Bossy McBossFace, but not Hanto) leading to the Crassian Leviathan, then leave the dungeon and reset it completely.

Alternatively, you can reset before crossing the mast by teleporting to the War's Retreat using War's Retreat Teleport and then entering your portal attuned to Shadow Reef (requiring one Ambassador kill). This can yield better gp/hr and xp/hr if done correctly.

The Shadow Reef's mobs have very generous drop tables compared to those in the Temple of Aminishi and Dragonkin Laboratory. Most of the profit generated from this method will generally come from Huge spiky rune salvages, although relics, coins and dark animica spirits also contribute to the method's profit. The mobs also give generous experience, and considering how Elite Dungeons work, is perfect for low or medium level players to gain money and experience.

It's recommended to complete Curse of the Black Stone and purchase the enhanced chest perk. This allows your chest to act as a bank for faster banking times, and also has a 5% chance to double drops, since picking them up yourself would be unnecessary and a waste of time.

Other players to team up with are often found by the boat on World 2 or World 138. This method can be done in solo, but the experience and profit is lower due to the time it would take to clear the dungeon.
