"Tapio" redirects here. For the gnome who starts the Big Chimchompa D&D, see Nyriki Tapio
Mieliki Tapio is a gnome alchemist involved in the Big Chinchompa Distraction and Diversion and the wife of Nyriki. She is located in the south-east of the Tree Gnome Stronghold, just south of the agility course, and up a set of stairs. She gives information on Nyriki's whereabouts and also provides rewards for those who have helped him. NPC Contact may be used to ask her when Nyriki will next appear.
Mieliki Tapio occasionally appears at the Manor Farm. She may be sold chinchompas in exchange for beans. As a small-sized animal buyer, she will appear or renew her order for chinchompas every day and purchase up to 12 animals before leaving, unless the player is at least 'Expert Farmer' rank in the farming reputation system; then she will buy up to 24.
Positive traits give more beans, negative traits give fewer beans, specific traits that the buyer wants give significantly more beans.

- patch 5 February 2013 (Update):
- Mieliki has been moved back from her counter slightly.
- She is named after Finnish gods Mielikki and Tapio.
- One of her lines of chat refers to Yelps, the host of the Squeal of Fortune: "Mieliki has rewards, yes, but people must help Nyriki to earn them. Mieliki is not some stupid goblin giving rewards for free."
