Medium Wilderness is an achievements subcategory of the Area Tasks category. Prior to the release of this subcategory the achievements were part of the former Wilderness subcategory within the Exploration category.

|6||A Barrel of Staffs||Yes||Purchase a God staff from the Chamber guardian in the Mage Arena.||
||Purchase a Guthix staff, Zamorak staff, or Saradomin staff from the chamber guardian in the Mage Arena, located in the deep Wilderness. The staffs cost 80,000 coins each.
The Mage Arena minigame must be completed before entering the sparkling pool.Players can use High Alchemy on the staff to recuperate 48,000 back, leading to a net loss of only 32,000.

||Loot a chest in the magic axe hut in the deep Wilderness which requires a lockpick. Make sure to right click the door to pick lock it, and to right click the chests to disable the traps before opening them. Players can use the Edgeville teleport lever or Ardougne teleport lever and travel north-east to get there.||10|

||Catch a black salamander near the Boneyard in the Wilderness which requires a small fishing net, rope, and optionally harralander tar.
The Hunter level requirement for this achievement cannot be boosted. It is possible to catch the salamander with a boost, but the achievement task will not completed.Keep a black salamander to make the camouflage potion for the hard achievement What Potion?.
|2||Filthy Rich||No||Open the chest in the Lava Maze with a muddy key.||
||Open the muddy chest in the Lava Maze with a muddy key. Players can use the teleport of a Lava Titan for quick access to the Lava Maze. Players may need a knife or sharp weapon to cut through the spider webs. Players may buy the key from the Grand Exchange, kill chaos dwarves for it, or receive it as loot from the magic axe hut chests.||10|

The achievement does not start until the grimy bloodweed has been collected and cleaned and must be done in the order listed. Despite saying it can be boosted, it can not be boosted.Players may want to save a bloodweed for the What Potion? hard achievement and one for the Come at me, Bro! elite achievement, although one only needs to have to pick the herb and mix the (unf) potion once to tick it off in all three achievements.
