Maldwyn Cywir was an elf from Tarddiad, who eventually became a Crystal Shapeshifter. He drops an ancient elven wedding ring after being killed by the adventurer during or after The Light Within. Showing the ring to Angof unlocks the second part of her diary, revealing that Maldwyn was her husband.
- Maldwyn is a Welsh name meaning brave friend, and is derived from the English name Baldwin.
