Login screen

The RuneScape login screen with the default background.

The login screen is the user interface presented to the users after the splash screen has finished. It is used to interact with the login server to log into the game.

Settings[edit | edit source]

The settings for the login screen can be accessed by pressing the button in the top right corner of the screen. The settings enable the user to access the following:

Background selection
Audio volume slider
"Remember username" toggle
"Hide username" toggle
"Graphics Settings" button
"Quit" button

Background[edit | edit source]

The background image in the login screen often changes to showcase the latest content. It is possible to customise the background image through the settings in the login screen.

The login screen plays one or multiple music tracks at a time, often having a connection with the latest background image. It is possible to adjust the volume of the music played through the settings in the login screen, but it is not possible to customise the track.
