Lumbridge guardsmen were members of the Lumbridge Guardsmen recruited during the Battle of Lumbridge and funded by Duke Horacio's treasury as a result of a vote during the second week of the battle. As a result of a further vote during the fourth week they received rune equipment and improved training from the Combat Academy, becoming converted into Elite Lumbridge guardsmen (upgraded).
