Localisation Team is a team of Jagex employees who adapt and translate RuneScape into its three non-English versions: Portuguese, French and German.

Role[edit | edit source]

The role of the Localisation Team at Jagex is to translate the entire game[1] into its 3 different languages. Translators are responsible for managing RuneScape's foreign social media and take part in the community.

Mod Chanti[edit | edit source]

Mod Chanti was a translator and community manager for the portuguese-brazilian community until 2018. She worked on the Social Media Team for a couple months before leaving Jagex.

Mod JSnow[edit | edit source]

Mod JSnow was a translator for the PT-BR team until 2017. Although he left Jagex, when Mod Chanti left temporarily for the social team, JSnow returned as a freelancer until Chanti's return.[2]

Mod Giuly[edit | edit source]

Mod Giuly was a translator and team leader for the PT-BR team until 2010.

Mod Luiz[edit | edit source]

Mod Luiz was a community manager for the PT-BR team until May 2013, when he moved to the marketing team at Jagex. He left Jagex in September 2017.

Mod Anabela[edit | edit source]

Mod Anabela was a community manager for the English and the PT-BR team from 2008 to 2010. Then, she left to be a Commercial Assistant and left Jagex in 2014.

Mod Liv[edit | edit source]

Mod Liv was a member on the Player Support team for the English and the PT-BR team until 2011.

Mod Claudio[edit | edit source]

Mod Claudio was a QA tester for the PT-BR team until 2014.

Mod Turtle[edit | edit source]

Mod Turtle was a community manager for the English and the PT-BR team until 2012. She left to take maternity leave.

Mod Betina[edit | edit source]

Mod Betina was a translator for the PT-BR team until 2010.

Mod Daniel F[edit | edit source]

Mod Daniel F was a translator for the PT-BR team until 2013.

Mod Nacholib was a translator for the PT-BR team until 2013.

Mod Matte was part of the PT-BR localisation team leader until 2014.

Mod Babsi[edit | edit source]

Mod Babsi is a former senior German translator. She joined Jagex in April 2012[4] and left Jagex with begin of Febuary 2019[5] to move back to Germany.

Mod Ges[edit | edit source]

Mod Ges is a former German translator. She joined Jagex in 2005 [6] and left without a statment in 2015.

Mod Argus[edit | edit source]

Mod Argus was part of the German Community Support[7] team and the German Community Management[8] from 2009 to 2012. He was the last Community Manager for the German version which never did get replaced. In 2012 he disappeared without a statment. Since then the German version didn't receive any Customer or Community Support.

Mod Leeny[edit | edit source]

Mod Leeny was part of the German Community Management[9] until June 2011 when she became a Social Networking Specialist[10] before she left Jagex.

Mod Ani[edit | edit source]

Mod Ani was part of the German Customer Support team until 2014.

Mod Keule[edit | edit source]

Mod Keule was part of the German localisation team until 2014.

The RuneScape Latin American Spanish version of RuneScape was closed on 3 November 2014 but the former translators were:

Mod Dagget[edit | edit source]

Mod Dagget was a part of the German translation team from May 2006[11] until December 2016 and former German translation teamleader. In January 2017 he announced that he is now the localisation manager for Jagex.[12]
