The Kal-i-kra are an extinct tribe of creatures from a different world than Gielinor. The most well-known member of this tribe was Bandos, who became chieftain after killing his father and taking his position.[1] [2] After Bandos killed Jododu Otoku, the god and protector of the Kal-i-kra's homeworld, meteorite strikes destroyed all other life on the planet, leaving Bandos as the last remaining member of the tribe.[3] With Bandos's death during The Bird and the Beast world event, the Kal-i-kra became extinct.

The Mark of the Kyzaj originates from a symbol of this tribe.
