The Kal-i-kra are an extinct tribe of creatures from a different world than Gielinor. The most well-known member of this tribe was Bandos, who became chieftain after killing his father and taking his position. After Bandos killed Jododu Otoku, the god and protector of the Kal-i-kra's homeworld, meteorite strikes destroyed all other life on the planet, leaving Bandos as the last remaining member of the tribe. With Bandos's death during The Bird and the Beast world event, the Kal-i-kra became extinct.
The Mark of the Kyzaj originates from a symbol of this tribe.
