Tank vs power armour[edit | edit source]
Armour comes in 2 variants: tank and power armour. For most purposes power armour is significantly better due to the increased damage, even if the tier difference is large. However, when tanking, the set effects from achto and cryptbloom can be relevant and make the role less difficult. Additionally, with the addition of the Animate dead spell (in the Ancient Magicks spellbook), tank armour can become even more effective at reducing incoming damage.

2-handed versus dual wield[edit | edit source]
Within the same tier, dual wield deals more damage when using full manual, while staves deal more damage when using revolution and consume less runes on legacy. 4-tick auto attacking is an advanced active technique that makes use of both dual wield and a staff and deals significantly more damage than automatically using abilities.
