The iron hatchet is the second weakest hatchet, slightly better than the bronze hatchet. It can be used in combat or in Woodcutting to cut trees. An Attack level of 10 is necessary for wielding it, while a Woodcutting level of 1 is required to cut trees with.

This hatchet respawns in many places, including the Varrock Sewers.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Before the Evolution of Combat, the iron hatchet was superior to the bronze hatchet at level 1 Woodcutting, although the update bolstered the former's level requirement to 6.
