Irit seed detail.png

Irit seeds can be planted in a herb patch in order to produce grimy irits. This requires a Farming level of 44.

Irit seeds can be obtained as a monster drop, by pickpocketing Master Farmers or Martin the Master Gardener, or from Managing Miscellania if your workers are assigned to Farming.

Planting irit seeds are very profitable, so therefore players are advised to make sure that the herb does not die. Supercompost (or Fertile Soil spell) is strongly recommended, as this is the best way of preventing your herbs from getting disease, as it is not possible to water the patch, or ask a farmer to tend the herbs.
