Analysis[edit | edit source]
This track has a tempo of 120 and is in the key of D Minor. The track uses a unique custom MIDI controller to generate the special effects that can be heard throughout the track. It uses controllers 17 (Special effects) and 81 (On/Off Switch for controller 17). In the General MIDI specifications, they are just the second general purpose controllers, which do not seem to be predefined, meaning that any special effect could be used in them. The special effect is called an Arpeggiator, where controller 17 controls the rate at which the Arpeggiator repeats.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- This song bears a similar resemblance to Koopa's Road from Super Mario 64, using the some of the same chord progressions found in that song.
