Hierophant Marius is the high priest of the Black Knights' Fortress and is found on the 1^st floor^[UK]2^nd floor^[US] of the fortress in front of an audience of black knights and monks of Zamorak. He administers the "Mark of Zamorak" on the player's face. Should the player remove their helmet in order to receive the mark, their suspicion level will rise to 100%.

• If the player attempts to read The Tome of Chaos in The Black Knights' Fortress, Marius will say "Keep your hands off my personal belongings, Dulcin!" or "Halt! The words of Zamorak are not for your eyes." if the player doesn't have the Black Knight captain's armour on.
• Marius carries a Zamorak staff.
