Hidey-holes
Hidey-holes are storage units used to store items used in emote Treasure Trails clues. They were released on 26 February 2018 with the clue scroll overhaul update. They can be filled while the items are still equipped.
As of 22 May 2022 there are 58 hidey-holes. There are achievements for building at least 1 hidey-hole, and completing all hidey holes.
Players can see which hidey-holes they've completed using the Treasure Trail information board near Zaida, or via a right-click option on the Treasure Trail collection log.
Materials[edit | edit source]
The materials and level required to convert these inconspicuous objects into hidey-holes depend on the tier of clue scroll they relate to. Protean planks may be substituted for any type of plank for all tiers. Despite the message saying steel nails are required, any type of nails can be used. However, all 10 nails must be of the same type. (Costs in the table below assume steel nails are used; cost will vary if using another type.) Visible boosts can be used to reach the Construction level requirements, but invisible boosts cannot.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- In Old School RuneScape, hidey-holes are called STASH units, an acronym for "Store Things And Stuff Here".
- The hidey-hole originally located by the Rimmington house portal could not be accessed if the Ticket vendor was in Rimmington, as it occupied the spot of the rock. This was fixed on 26 March 2018.
- The hidey-hole at the crossroads north of Draynor Village disappeared at the start of the 2018 Hallowe'en event. In a patch on 15 October 2018, it was re-added.
