This article is about the complete outfit. For lower-half garment specifically, see H.A.M. robe.

H.A.M. robes are clothes worn by H.A.M. (Humans Against Monsters) members. While wearing parts of this outfit, players are slightly less likely to be kicked out of the H.A.M. Hideout when caught while picking the pockets of male and female H.A.M. Members.[1]

The robes are required for The Lost Tribe (found during the quest), and two sets are needed for Death to the Dorgeshuun.

Players can store a complete set of H.A.M. robes in the armour case of the costume room of a player-owned house.

Obtaining[edit | edit source]

The robes are tradeable and can be bought on the Grand Exchange.

From pickpocketing[edit | edit source]

They can be obtained from H.A.M. members (located at the H.A.M. Hideout) while picking their pockets at level 15 Thieving for female members and level 20 for males; this can be tedious as after 3 failed attempts players will be knocked out and transported to either the jail within the hideout or to random location in Lumbridge, near the hideout entrance.

When failing to pickpocket, if the players receive the message Your agility helps you to partially avoid the blow., the attempt will not count towards being kicked out. After receiving three of this message: You feel slightly concussed from the blow., they will be kicked out.

From Sigmund's chest[edit | edit source]

Members can also retrieve a shirt, robe, and hood from the 1st floor[UK]2nd floor[US] of Lumbridge Castle in Sigmund's chest. The chest is in room next to Duke Horacio's room. Players may have multiple items and sets of H.A.M. robes but may only claim from Sigmund's chest once during The Lost Tribe Quest.

Update history[edit | edit source]

The update history project is a work-in-progress – not all updates to this topic may be covered below. See here for how to help out!
  • patch 1 February 2011 (Update):
    • Mining while wearing the hood piece no longer causes part of a player’s head to become invisible.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The robes appear to be the colour pink but mentioned in Postbag 18 that the outfits are fuchsia and the examine text for the robe describes them as "Vivid Crimson". The robes were also mixed up by the wrong merchant so that is why they have the outfits they wear today.
