Gravity field

Gravity fields are balls of gravitational energy that are used to knock Vorago off balance. Two appear throughout the second phase of the fight, each while he reflects damage onto players. If Vorago is in range, the gravity field can be launched at him, prompting the message "Vorago feels the pull of the gravity field, which destablises him." If he is not within range, attempting to fire the gravity field will do nothing and prompt the message, "Vorago isn't close enough to feel the pull of the gravity field." After both gravity spheres are launched, the fight will progress to the "Bring him down!" part of the phase.

Update history[edit | edit source]

This information has been compiled as part of the update history project. Some updates may not be included - see here for how to help out!
  • patch 14 March 2022 (Update):
    • Various mechanics in Vorago's fight have been adjusted:
      • Reduced the number of gravity orbs needed to stumble Vorago from 4 to 2.
      • The "Bring him down!" mechanic is twice as fast, however, as a result of this change, damage is increased from 150 to 250 in normal mode and 250 to 400 in hard mode.
  • patch 23 October 2017 (Update):
    • The click radius on the Gravity Field in the Vorago boss fight has been increased.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The "Exit sphere" used to leave the borehole and to exit The Drop uses the same model.
  • As long as Vorago does not move from his initial placement in the center of the arena upon entering Phase 2, he will always be in range of a gravity field once they appear.
